Burkhardt Lab

Working at the interface between cell biology and immunology, we seek to understand how cytoskeletal dynamics regulate immune system function.

Our Team

We believe that a diverse and inclusive scientific team is the best way to ensure creative ideas and impactful science.

The Burkhardt lab is based at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and The University of Pennsylvania. Our research program focuses on elucidating how the cytoskeleton works as a mechanical signaling intermediate, modulating T cell and dendritic cell responses in health and disease.

Projects in the lab are always evolving, and we are always on the lookout for dynamic people to join our team. Dive in here to learn more.
